Generally speaking this remote will work with any post that features following:

• Shift cable is is installed from the front through the remote and clamped at the seatpost (means shift cable head is placed in the remote and not in the post)
• Cable pull is less than 13mm

If you are using a different seatpost from the ones listed above, please contact us about compatibility.

The remote is mounted to the handlebar via SRAM Matchmaker or Shimano I-Spec adapter, or with a regular SRAM trigger clamp.

What is to be used - sintered metal or organic brake pads?

REVERSE Components brake pads are perfectly suited for all biker of Tour / XC to DH!

The REVERSE Organic brake lining unfolds the full braking force already in the cold state. In extreme range at high temperatures with constant load, the wear is slightly larger.

Sintered metal pads have their full braking force in the middle to high temperature range and are therefore somewhat more durable under extreme loads. When cold, the sintered metal pads are a little less "snappy" as an Organic brake pad. But only briefly in the beginning with the first 1-2 braking maneuvers. Then the pad is at operating temperature. However, it does not mean that a cold sintered metal brake pad brakes bad! But a small difference is noticeable!

Conclusion: In most cases, 80% of drivers with the Organic brake pads are perfectly equipped, because the price / performance and braking behavior. Furthermore, Organic suitable coverings to in brake systems with brake disturbing noises (squealing or stutter) any remedy. Furthermore, organic brake pads can reduce disturbing brake noise (squeak or stutter) in brake systems.

For drivers who often within the extreme range of the braking load are the sintered metal models a way to increase the long life!

This stem is Enduro!
No discipline is as broad as the "Enduro" segment. The Bikes used here are true all-rounders which can used on the big all day rides to DH level bike park excursions. And that's what the Black One was built for!

The Black One is for the rider who pushes hard on their aggressive trail/enduro bike and needs stiffness, strength and responsiveness to match. We built the Black One stem to be durable, create quick handling and with a wide clamping to provide stiffness while running 760-800 mm+ handlebars.

This stem was tested in the toughest fatigue lab test available. Even after hundreds of thousands of load changes in the lab, this stem could not be brought to its limits.

The Black One Enduro weighs in at just 137 g still the lightest stem on the market in its class!
